Welcome to Bowls New Zealand

Bowls New Zealand's vision is to be the best bowling country.  New Zealand has a long history of bowls and many of our bowling clubs throughout the country are over 100 years old. Our mission is to deliver an exceptional sporting experience that is enjoyable, entertaining and accessible to all New Zealanders.  In 2008, close to 100,000 New Zealanders played bowls either socially or as a club member.

Can You Handle the Jandal?

Have you got what it takes to play in our lawn bowls league- Mates In Bowls?

All you need is a few good mates, a good sense of humour and flat soled shoes.  If you've never played before, don't worry, we'll guide you and even provide the bowls!  Even better, it doesn't cost a fortune and anyone can play!

Get your game on this summer and check out whether you and your mates can actually ...  handle the jandal!
